I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I feel like I should make some kind of Parks and Rec comment disparaging calzone and praising pizza, but I don't remember any.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I am fully in favor of the prompt return of everyone all y'all mentioned, plus Barb and Herself and Nutty and JenK. And we need more Alibelle and Holli and Cindy and vw and a lot more Emily, and we need our ita again (but only when she's up to it).

But, mostly, lately, I worry about Kathy A. It's unsettling to have a friend undergo a surgery that involves major stress on the body and then just sort of vanish.

I'm sure everyone is fine and great and living the high life on some other board, or fully three-dimensionally, but I'd be comforted even if they came back just to point and laugh and mock my paranoia. They can even mock me with their monkey pants!

ISeriouslyON, I cannot believe that this is a thing in the world. It's almost as WTFy as the Herman Cain ad with the grumpy smoker.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Liese, what goes in the ham and cheese? Just ... ham and cheese?

Ham, sundried tomatoes, pesto, mozzarella, mushrooms and pepper.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

When I was a kid, we did a rolled-up bread thing that was just meat and cheese inside, and ALL DELICIOUS.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Oh, YAY.

My oldest niece just landed a really great research associate job with a big-name environmental advocacy organization in DC. So pleased for her!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Damn, that was cold, Marceline.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's great, Consuela!

I miss many people, but allergies have replaced my brain cells with mucous, so I can't spell names. I don't understand why the Planet Green channel is running a series on ancient Egypt, either. 'Cause . . . dessert? And climate change? Hieroglyphs and Buffistas are pretty. I need more allergy meds. Or wine.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I wish I could post more, and that folks would come back and post. In my case, it's a combination of new job, trying to be productive with my non-day job writing, and Tumblr.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Didn't we have some sort of Agnes Bertiz (sp) day where we invited people to stop by and say hi? Or was that just the opening of the Phoenix? It might be fun to do that again!

I miss Kathy A a lot, too, both because I really like her, and because I am not sure why she stopped posting.
