Last night's cupcake was lemon meringue--lemon cupcake with a graham cracker bottom, filled with lemon curd, and a meringue frosting (which was more marshmallowy, but still yum)
Ooh, that sounds delish!
I am preemtively excited about this calzone situation, because I could buy the pizza dough at TJs and make several at once, and freeze them for later!
What's in your calzone, Jesse? That's an idea for me, too, because I bet the kids would love them.
Home YAY. Climbed right into bed. Going to watch soothing British murder mysteries and make my husband bring home food.
I hate how exhausting traveling is.
This has spinach, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, olives, onions, cheese, I think that's it?
Glad you made it home safe, Dana.
I miss everybody all the time.
I make superbowl calzones every year, lots of variations. Ham & cheese, feta & spinach, italian sausage and bell peppers. They do freeze up nicely, but take forever to cook from frozen.
Sounds yummy, Jesse, although I doubt the kids would okay the artichokes. I need to look up some recipes.
Liese, what goes in the ham and cheese? Just ... ham and cheese?
Going to watch soothing British murder mysteries and make my husband bring home food.
I read this as "make my husband bring home
British
food," and I was going to applaud your authenticity.
Today I've basically worked like a fiend and texted Dana about Tony Stark.
Actually, that sounds like most of my days.
Going to watch soothing British murder mysteries and make my husband bring home food.
I'm totally going to watch more Lewis tonight. That is an excellent plan.

I thawed in the fridge from this morning, but it still took 45 minutes, which is kind of forever for me. But still, a win!
I feel like I should make some kind of Parks and Rec comment disparaging calzone and praising pizza, but I don't remember any.
