A woman in my office was having Trader Joe's masala veggie burgers for lunch the other day - she got practically orgasmic over them.

I like the TJ's Greek frozen pizza, with kalamata olives and feta, and that couldn't be any easier.
Let's just say it: the Republicans are the Problem: [link]
That's the op-ed in the Washington Post. They blame Newt Gingrich and Grover Norquist.
Yeah, I've been wondering what effect (if any) this will have on our political discourse.

Thomas E. Mann is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, and Norman J. Ornstein is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.
Wow.
I really hope they show Revenge over the summer since I took it out of my rotation.
I watched Scandal last night. Really? POTUS??? REALLY!!!??
The Republican party just seems insane to me anymore. Literally, like crazy person ranting.
I don't even understand what the strategic value of attacking birth control is. First of all, how can you be opposed to that? Especially if you're anti-abortion. Second of all, how is that going to win elections?
And who, exactly, is Grover Norquist? and why have almost all the Republicans in Congress signed his pledge to never raise taxes and never close any tax loopholes?

It's all tribalism and resentment, so far as I can tell. It's not "My wife and I used birth control when we first got married, so other people should be allowed to," it's "Those lazy sluts sucking at the public teat want to use MY MONEY to pay for their sex! Stone them!"
Also there's the thing about parents not wanting their kids to behave like they did; so just because Joe and Jill had sex at 16, doesn't meant they want their daughter Jane to. Cognitive dissonance is the order of the day.
Rational discourse went out the door about the time that Ken Starr subpoena'd Monica Lewinsky's blue dress.
