Awake now. Prop 30 passed in CA! Oh, my CA friends, I am SO glad!!
Must now find out about my state stuff, then get some UNINTERRUPTED (by my own political anxiety) work done today. It's REALLY pretty out, and I am still really freaking happy.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

"I'd rather shower at Penn State than vote for Obama."
Jesus. Some people.
I'm going to stop trying to decipher my cousin's political views on the basis that he is not old enough yet to vote, and is being raised by crazy people in a cult.

Such a relief. That was huge.
So I suppose we should all pick out who we're going to gay-marry now.
I call Nate Silver.
Yay on Prop. 30 passing, Californians!
Also -- SO. TIRED. So very very tired.
Is Florida still not called?
Glad to hear prop 30 passed for you CA folks.
I was just kind of tired and numb last night, but the results of the elections finally hit me this morning and I got a little watery-eyed for a moment.
ION, WI kept up its independent streak. We elected the Dems for president and Senate, but our state legislature flipped back to Republican control. Not looking forward to another 2 years of Walker cramming through his agenda.
Is Florida still not called?
Looks like that's the case.

It didn't hit me until this morning as well.
I was on the train and I noticed a peculiar sensation in my mouth. Turns out I was smiling. Which seems to be my default for the day. Cool.
Ach, FINALLY watching victory speech. I was so stunned it happened so fast last night, and I was so tired, (up at 4 am!) I went to bed before I could find a video.
NOW I got the tears. Man, I cried at the 08 calling of Obama as winner and all through his speech; I was just so, "OMG REALLY!" grateful last night and tired that I didn't really have the happy-happy, most like disaster-averted adrenalin rush tired.
