Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

All I have to say about politics right now is

Finally, I should say that when Obama is re-elected and we are all forced to gay-marry each other, I would gay-marry all of you.

Except, I guess, the guys. Sorry. I blame Obama.

Trust my rage

Steph, I feel the same way. I mean, not about Tim, but about my pro-Romneyfriends. Honestly, I don't see how decent or intelligent people can see otherwise. I know it's terrible to feel that way but it is how I feel. So...you are not alone.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I have trouble understanding how decent people can see Obama as an imperfect good rather than a really horrible lesser evil. In case that provides perspective.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I learned to make pie crusts with all shortening and no butter, not chilling anything, overworking it with my hands and dusting liberally with flour when rolling out. Always tasted fine to me, though I doubt it would win awards.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I feel like anyone who doesn't think Romney is a shambling horror is directly attacking me as a woman.

Yeah, I get this. I'm just not happy with anyone who is willing to sell my body out for an imaginary tax cut. That's how I'm seeing it.

I try to keep in mind that I'm usually the queen of hyperbole, but that seems to be the reality of it. I can birth me some rape babies in return for Kristen and Tim to get a tax cut because that will help them...buy me a bigger birthday present or something? Just, no.

Because books.

I think it has to be that tunnel-vision, one-issue thing. People are willing to pretend that he doesn't really mean what he says about women or birth control or Planned Parenthood, because they like what he's promising about ... something else. I don't what that is, except tax breaks for the wealthy, but I guess that's important to them.

I've been shocked to find a lot of parents and people in the neighborhood who I would have definitely pegged as Democrats put Romney signs on their lawns. They all have really nice houses, for the record.

It does, actually. And I remind myself that there's a lot about Obama that I'm not happy with. Fucking drones, man.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm often surprised with how people plan on voting. We have a teacher at my school who is planning against voting against Prop 30, which will raise taxes, but will also mean that we don't' have to take an additional 15 furlough days on top of the 10 we are currently taking. Also, at my school, we will lose 2-3 teachers if it doesn't pass.

But this teacher said, "I just don't want to pay higher taxes." Um. Really? Because your 15 extra days without pay will actually cost way more than a tax increase.

I don't get voting against your self-interest.

I have at least 3 gay friends who are loud and proud pro-Romney voters. That spun my head hard.
