It's very sloppy. And I'm generally pro-information but this proposition is a definite "no" for me. I'd write more but I hate writing on my iPhone.
I think I am going to be a no too. I'd rather wait for a better version than have this one in place.
No on 37. Gmo isn't really a risk, and the point of the prop is to create an extortive private right of action for plaintiff's attorneys.
Well, not any KNOWN risk... unintended consequences do so love to pop up.
(That said, not being a Californian I have no informed opinion as whether its more effective to pass a poorly constructed measure and subsequently improve it or wait for a well written one. Yeesh. I do not envy any of you.)

I'm guessing problem with poorly trained security, but still ....
Romney rally refuses to let people out: [link]
The hell? Why were they not being let out? Last I checked, there's a pretty short list of people with the authority to detain others against their will.
On another matter, I'm seeing reported just in the last day or so that Bloomberg (the news service, as apposed to the NY Mayor personally) has got hold of Romney's past tax returns, and he did in fact avoid paying any taxes for over ten years. For election-watchers in the US:
1. Does this story appear to be true?
2. How much play is it getting?
I haven't seen it yet, but I've been running around quite off the grid and whatnot.
If its true I suspect all hell will break loose. I hope so anyway.
I would expect it to get wide play if true. I have my doubts. Unlikely he paid nothing all ten years. But not impossible. In terms of holding people up - yeah completely illegal. I suspect it was incompetence and assholedom by low level people rather than campaign policy. But still says something about campaign that it happened.
If people started warning for "not known not to be a risk2,,,well, I'd imagine there wouls be a lot more reading to do on the corn flakes box over brekkie. I think there needs to be a point to labelling, and as far as I can tell, of all the stickers you could slap on your food, GMO wouldn't really help with anything ,
I guess I'd have to see what are the putative risks first. Though I do think telling people IT'S EVERYWHERE would be pretty amusing--I'm guessing retailers aren't in the business of amusing me.
