Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

FL and OH are a clusterfuck this weekend. The OH Sec of State just wrote a last minute order to reject ballots that didn't have a cover form filled out correctly.

I'm trying to figure out why this fool is not in jail right now.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ooh, and can I say I'm jealous of msbelle AND sarameg right now? I'd love to be hanging with you ladies instead of dealing with my daughter. She had an attack of the teens today and threw an epic fit over the indecency of her dad's suggestion that she put her pennies in the penny jar since her coin purse was so heavy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Heard about Ohio. Apparently his decision was illegal.

Are you serious le n? Overt voter suppression? Is that really the part of the good ol' days that they want to go back to?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Subtlety is dead. They're not even trying anymore.

information libertarian

brenda m, I would serve that over rice, or couscous, or egg noodles, or polenta.

I am planning to vote on election day, probably taking the kids before school, but I am really flexible so I can come back if there is a line. I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes anywhere or anyplace I've voted.

Dillo has been impossible all week (and especially today) and I think it's Halloween, the pre-hype and the post-letdown, even when he isn't sugared up. It's making me want to cancel Christmas.

Polenta, that's a great idea. I think I have cornmeal. Otherwise, or for leftovers, I think I'll do pasta. It seems like it will make a really good next day pasta salad.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The OH Sec of State wrote a temp order (this is being challenged in court right now) about voters needing to fill out a form in order for their vote to count AND he acknowledged that a software glitch purged 33,000 voters.

Husted installed an experimental software patch on voting machines also.

I guess the DOJ can't just chain up Sec of State now, but I wish this situation would be treated the same way if we had video of him assaulting and battering people. He needs to step down and someone from DOJ needs to come in and put in the most expansive access as possible.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I voted, too! I was walking out of the building exactly 2 hours after I got in line.
