I have a quilt and some old winter coats I could donate, Hil. (If I'm anywhere near your parents, that is).
I don't think you are. You're in central Jersey, right? They're up near NYC. Thanks, though.

A lot of New Jersey is going on even/odd days gas rationing.
Yikes. I haven't seen any open gas stations in Brooklyn for two days now, but I also don't need to drive. (When I filled up my car on Sunday, I thought I was being paranoid, but now I'm so relieved I thought of it.)
It's a perfectly normal chilly breezy November night right now, and I still can't help flinching every time it gusts.
I can't even describe the part that always makes me cry without tearing up.
The whole fucking song? And I'm not even a fan of Coldplay.
Jessica, I thought the same thing when I topped off the tank on Sunday night, but after seeing what's going on in the Tri-State area, I will never NOT do it before a major storm.

Ever seen the movie Young at Heart?
No. Should I?
This article has the list of NJ counties doing the even/odd gas rationing. It looks like it's mostly the northern half of the state. [link]
I don't even know that song.
I have no attention span whatsoever. I *think* I am packed? Couple things in the dryer that need to go into bags. And the toiletries I'll need in the morning. I can't manage to stay on task for any period of time and that just makes m even more scattered. Like now, posting this is interrupted by the parents.
My house isn't a total disaster?
Ever seen the movie Young at Heart?
The only way that would have been more touching is if orpahned puppies were singing with them!

Not 5 minutes ago, I was on the phone with my mother and she was wondering why they didn't do the odd/even rationing like they did in the 70's
