But at least while I'm typing the longest run-on sentence in recent history, I'm not getting up off the couch and mugging the candy bowl for chocolate-peanut butter goodness.
We bought our candy (the good stuff -- Snickers and Milky Ways) on Sunday, so as to not have it in the house tempting my weak will and sugar cravings for too long. As of now, the candy bags are all unopened. You may think 3 days is no big deal, but that is a goddamned record in this house. I feel like a junkie fighting off the urge for some smack.

I don't have any Halloween candy. I don't ever get trick or treaters, so I don't bother.
My school does not officially do Halloween, but a few of the kids have on fun headbands. I'm wearing an orange Halloween t-shirt and my eyeball headband that looks like an eyeball tiara. I loves it so.
