There are lots of scenarios where we could lose power, such as a Con Edison substation getting flooded, or losing high-tension lines coming into the city.

Its a Friday and after noon. Go crazy as long as you are not drinking alone at work. That might be awkward.

I found out today that My Nemesis dislikes me so much that when I brought in homemade pumpkin bread on Tuesday, she refused to eat it, and told someone that was why!
I can imagine feeling that way, but not actually admitting it to another adult, it's so petty.

NOT too early to start drinking. I plan on drinking as soon as I get to the con hotel, because I will NEED it. Packing for a 2-day event: the giant suitcase, the carry-on bag, and the weekend bag.
