Jayne: Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please? Mal: I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct tape her mouth and dump her in the hold for a month.

Oh, Zen - the barometer could be to blame cause now I have a tinge of a headache too. We went from nice weather early in the week to snow and freezing/near freezing temps.

They pay me in WOIMS

What kind of hurricane food should I buy? I'm kind of blanking.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Peanut butter? Crackers? Jerky? Fruit jerky and/or other dried fruit? Bottled water?

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Cheetos!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Toilet paper and beer, of course.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm thinking soup.

The cats, of course, will insist on cat food.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

In case of power loss, I would go with the following:

TP, pop-tarts, fruit, self-stable milk, chips, nuts.

I'd also cook up 2-3 servings of meat and freeze in single servings.

Relevant to the interest of some here... K-Bug has a new boy and he was over last evening. After having a beer, she started to explain Fernet to him and dared him to take a shot. He was curious but agreed after I said I'd do a shot too. He loved it! Heeee. He also seemed to survive an evening with CJ and me... Will see if he makes the cut to boyfriend level.

hip deep in pie

Yeah, you want things you can consume without electricity. I'd get bread, granola bars, lots of fruit, juice?, water. Caffeinated drinks?

I lost power for 3 days when a hurricane hit us and I have no idea what I ate...there was power in other parts of town, so I suspect I went out.
