If this were a bigger assignment, I'd probably make a bigger deal about it, but it's a weekly homework assignment. Going through all the reporting procedures for all of them (there were about 15 or 20) would be a royal pain, and I don't feel like it's worth it. If it were a midterm, I'd feel differently.

15 or 20? UGH, Hil!
Yeah, I can see that. Just flunk 'em on it, and read 'em the riot act. I WOULD make copies of all the plagiarized assignments before handing them back, though.
I seem to have caught a case of the stupid this week. I'm about ready to jump off a bridge to rid the world of my stupidity. Just about everything I've done or said has been rebutted and undermined, and I'm thinking that the non-suicidal route is to become a mute who only knows the words "Yes ma'am.". I have an executive director who wants us all to be leaders, and a director who wants me to ask "how high" and I've been torn between offering my differing opinions and being a good minion, and now am in a slump where I feel that my opinion doesn't matter. And then when I don't assert myself, I still get into trouble, because my director is so distracted with a million other things that she isn't actually able to give proper instruction.
I feel like an extra asshole because she's been so nice about guiding me back onto the track that she wants. But in the end it still means that I'm a failure.

Oh, I should have thought of that earlier.
I wonder if math could be "plagairized" before the internet. It seems like it would have been more difficult.
Also, my mind is blown, because I just found out that "Get It On (Bang a Gong) was a T.Rex song before it was a Power Station song. It is really funny to me, because T. Rex is an actual classic band, and I really only know Power Station because of my age!
I assumed it was a homework, not a test, which is the reason I suggested failing the assignment, not the whole class. A test would be an automatic letter in the their file. The fact that several of them did it is what makes it troubling.

Oh yes, do this if you can.
I'm going to have a talk with the whole class about it, without mentioning individual names.
And then talk to them in private Hil, and as Strix suggests hand them their asses.
It's a tricky situation because you don't want them to poison the whole semester. Ugh.
