Distracted running late for a plane. But adding things to my reading list..

OMG, how is that so hilarious??

So I'm home from work. I had a three and a half hour commute for nothing, because we forgot that this week was testing, and we aren't teaching. D'oh. And furthermore, we doubled it, because the SO is expecting a package this afternoon, so we both drove so that I could come home early to sign for it.

Argh.

But on the other hand, off today and tomorrow. Guess I should count my blessings.

Isn't it? I can't stop laughing!

Which is good, because I hate email. It has taken 25 emails to arrange to have costumes brought to storage, and most of it was because of a mis-communication that would have been evident in person. But also because people don't understand costumes and are slightly stupid.

I cannot see the cute video. My workplace hates video.

Also one of the lunches I had to set-up today was not until 1!! No one does lunch at 1 here. The workday starts at 8. Lunch is at 12! Ugh, I was starving by the time it got delivered - then I had to set up and wait until the whole meeting got themselves served, then I snarfed down. Because at that point I was not leaving the office to get food. too late and I was too hungry.

I just baked a dozen banana muffins, two loaves of banana bread and three loaves of pumpkin bread. I had to stop because I ran out of sugar.

My workplace hates video

Cashmere: I had to run out and buy emergency sugar yesterday, as well. Wacky.

I broke into the back up flour. I was planning on making Pioneer Woman's Texas Sheet Cake because I haven't made it in over a year. Going to have to make a sugar run when I return the video rentals.

I baked a loaf of pumpkin bread Friday and there's maybe 2 slices left. Tim has been eating it with pumpkin ice cream and whipped cream on top.

The man still has a 28-inch waist and he turns 46 in less than a month. I hate him sometimes.
