'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I like Ginger's idea a lot, even if it would eat up part of a weekday. Don't know what mountains you'd have to move to make it happen, though.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So, Beau is a Raiders fan.

To say he is NOT HAPPY is an understatement. I left the house for awhile to run errands, and when I entered, you could tell there was a dark cloud in the house.

dark, dark cloud.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

An infusion clinic is a great idea if it can be arranged.

Taking CJ out line dancing tonight, meeting up with some other friends. Hopefully.

Infusion clinic sounds possible...

We picked up the kittens! But they're big boys--5 months old, not tiny kittens at all. Sniff. But still cute. We named them Lawrence and Texas...Lawrence keeps hiding behind the door, and Texas keeps trying to reach under it to get him. Hah!

For those of you who have had chemo, or with someone who did, what should I stick in a care package for a friend who is having chemo? I was thinking trashy magazines, a very soft blanket, and some ginger chews or tea. Thoughts?

Never underestimate the duration of kittenhood. They'll get places the wee ones never did but then do kitten things in those new places!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

This baseball game is breaking my heart.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That’s what baseball is for.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Puzzles if they are a puzzle person. Crossword books if they like those. Coloring books and crayons for those inclined. Things that can be done for as long or as sort of a time as they can handle.

True, that. At least if this game keeps going south, we've got one more game to try to pull it off.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All your and Cass's ideas sound good, plus maybe a pair of fuzzy socks to wear during treatments. If has a kindle or ipad or whatever, maybe a gift certificate to download some apps or books?
