Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My day has been spent mostly trying to make my back stop hurting. Enough painkillers to put me to sleep, and it was still hurting. Sleeping on the spare bed with the firm mattress the last two nights has helped, though, which means sometime soon I have to spring for a new mattress, dammit. Tonight I dug out a corset-like thing and found a hot pack thing in the back of the closet, and those have finally made me able to move sort-of normally. This shit has got to stop, that's all. I also dug out the yoga mat and will start doing the old PT exercises again tomorrow, but it's hard to do PT exercises when I can't bend.

The brochure is very mixed up. There's a lot of focus on the roles of the Democrats and Republicans in the 1870s, some attempt to try and make the current Republican party focus on the needs of the poor and return to its founding values, and a focus on Douglass as a self-made man and capitalist.

Cleaning off the ol' DVR, and it's creepy that Hotch on Criminal Minds is dating the First Lady from Scandal! A little funny, given one of the Scandal storylines, though.
