Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hi, Zen!

Have you taken a whack at Salonpas patches? I'm pretty sure they're hippy-dippy shit, but Mommy likes 'em.

Edit: Nope. The internet tells me they are not complete hippy-dippy shit!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In case you're interested, there's a breakdown of last month's traffic in B'cracy. I might run one on all we have in the logs and see that too.

Good night, fair posters and foul alike...KIDDING!!!!! Nobody gets a good night if I don't.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I hope things are as easy as possible for you and your mom, Frank. Which I realize might not be that easy.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

No particular plans for the weekend, aside from attacking the backlog on the DVR.(I'm three weeks behind on a couple shows, and have a bunch of other stuff, so clearing it off is not in the near future.)

We got an election-related door hanger from the Frederick Douglass Republicans. I am no expert, but I am fairly sure that Douglass would not have embraced the modern Republican party.

The brochure is very mixed up. There's a lot of focus on the roles of the Democrats and Republicans in the 1870s, some attempt to try and make the current Republican party focus on the needs of the poor and return to its founding values, and a focus on Douglass as a self-made man and capitalist.

Cleaning off the ol' DVR, and it's creepy that Hotch on Criminal Minds is dating the First Lady from Scandal! A little funny, given one of the Scandal storylines, though.

It's kind of amazing to me how different she looks in both roles.
