She deeply concerned about the state of mess and clutter in my bedroom.

yes. She is nudging and I am getting stuff out. It's a good thing. My clothes are getting reduced, it is slow, but it is happening.
I think I need a nanny. I don't have a child, however, so this would be weird. I definitely need help, though.
Yeah, isn't that part of why you hired McPhee, to keep on top of these things?
...I have no Mac, but I still feel I need a McPhee. Hm. (ETA: Or, what Sophia said!)
Thank god it's almost the weekend. (Not helpful: I got my computer back from IT fixing it, and it didn't have my printer on it, and so I had to call the helpdesk to install it, and they're all "oh, we have to escalate that...they'll get back to you on Monday maybe?" Grr.)
Everyone could use a housewife.
Yesterday afternoon, I was asked to quickly write a thing. I did it, but as you might guess, it could be better. Send it out midday, got an email back just now that it could be better. From the very person who was saying speed is of the essence! At this point, it can be good or it can be fast, but not both. Bleh.
I am so much better with decluttering adn organizing other people.
As we used to say in consulting, you have to pick two out of these three: cheap, fast, and good. You can't have them all, and anyone who claims so is lying.
I have accomplished shoppage, although I need to go back out and get carrots and canned pineapple for the carrot cake. But, classically, my dad called while I was in the car, and he's all spun up because the damned pharmacist gave him all sorts of warnings about the meds. And then he went online and he's all worried about the meds and the psychiatrist.
I think I talked him down, reminded him how awful he was feeling and how agitated Mom has been, and that the Klonopin is the same basic drug as the Xanax, just longer-lasting. And I don't care what some jackasses on Yelp have to say about the doctor. He came recommended and seemed pretty professional to me.
So I think the crisis is averted, but my god, it was nearly noon and Mom hadn't taken her morning meds. This is why they need fulltime help.
OH THANK GOODNESS. I was expecting a piece of good news all week, and it kept not coming, and it finally came! But it got delivered to the wrong department, so I didn't get it until just now. Now I can go.
Happy Friday, y'all!
Good news is good.
The application for Bailey is IN!!! We should get initial word by middle of next week.
