I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Congratulations, you are making progress with your parents.

Consuela, that's good news. Crossing fingers that things go smoothly.

Great news Consuela. Is your mom good about taking her meds and at the right times?

So the first 2 tasks I start on I have incomplete info to complete. Am now waiting on other people to complete the following:

compile & email MI bullets
edit & email contractor mgmt doc

On to monthly bullets.

Hah! No. When I got there last Saturday morning, it was to discover that she had not taken her mid-day Friday or evening Friday meds. Or possibly her Friday morning meds, I don't recall. And yesterday I got there at 4 and her 3 pm meds were on the table.

Which is another reason they need to move to a facility, where Dad can't forget to have her take her meds because the staff brings them and makes sure you take them. (Of course we can't tell her that because she's totally control-freaky about her meds and would flip out about not having constant access to the box o chemical delights.)

Okay, enough lazing around for me: gotta walk the dog and get to the store.

Steadying out the meds will help too. I had asked K-Bug about the Senior Living center where she works...they have various sections - independant living, assisted living, and memory care (I believe). She said that the outward differences appear minimal, though there are more security checks in the memory care section.

I'm glad things are moving forward.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It's possible, too, that the bupropion is adding to any agitation she has. That's not an uncommon side effect. (I had horrible agitation and RAAAAAGE when I took it.) So maybe when it's stopped, that might help.

The appointment sounds like good progress!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I kinda have nothing to do. I mean--I don't know if we're doing the cutover this weekend, because there's a system outage, so all the people that would be deciding on my project are fighting fires, and I can't have the convo with the security guy all on my lonesome, since fixing the tasks isn't within my power.
