I love that xkcd, tommyrot, and not just or even mostly because there's a little Joss in there, and not just because the cancer representation is so apt, but because romance is the only other thing that carries over to the cancer years. The only way that comic could be more perfect is if it was "love" instead of "romance." Not that there's anything wrong with romance, but it's only one kind of love and all the loves are good.
I'm sorry you're having bad weather, sarameg, but am glad you've got your Spanish boots of Spanish leather!
I also love that xkcd strip for the callback to people being wrong on the internet.
And downpour. Well, since I've decided that the weather for Toledo looks better Sunday, I can putz around here a couple more hours before heading back to Madrid tomorrow...
An excellent xkcd comic about cancer: [link]
whoa. yup, I can relate.
As can I, though I don't recommend the step that followed for me. I hope other avoid that one for a very, very, very long time.
Glad you're enjoying yourself despite the weather, sara.

Not too mean-spirited. Until you get to #50.
Congratulations, Kate and DH! Welcome to the world, Rose.
And because it can't be said enough, fuck cancer indeed!
le n, I'm about $150K upside down at this point. Trying not to think about it....
Went to my first yoga class last night. I was soaked with sweat after 15 minutes. It was way tougher than I anticipated, and the poses I thought would be difficult, weren't and vice versa.
Yay yoga!!! I need to get back to a regular practice. Life has gotten in the way of that way too much lately.
msbelle can never be friends with #16.
The answer to #2 is probably Stephen Sondheim, no? That could be tricky.
