TB is because I volunteer at a hospital. But also for work. I have to have one every 4 years for work, but I get one for the hospital every year so I'm covered. Also, if I want to volunteer at Noah and Grace's school, I also need to prove TB testing.
There's not a vaccine, I don't think. At this point, if I had TB it would be a result of my students not anything sexy like a vacation or whatever.
Overly warm in our house tonight. This weather is bananas.
Oooooh! And I have to share. Grace's teacher has the kids make books to practice reading. Grace brought home a book called
In the Dark Dark Wood
which she made that she can read. Like aloud. Her growing communication skills rock my world.
I would like to know how the Magical Hoodie of Justice manages to stay up through all the vigorous crime-fighting.
I assume elf ears. But I'd like to know why he turned into Link on the island in the first place. Damn, now I think I have to go to Boxed Set. Or at least watch the next one.
But I'd like to know why he turned into Link on the island in the first place.
I assume the whole season will be flashback-tastic.
Or at least watch the next one.
I'm going to keep watching. At least one more. (And probably the whole season -- assuming it doesn't get cancelled -- if I'm going to be honest about it. Because -- abs of justice!)
I am super charmed by this modcloth dress. [link] If anyone wants to buy it for me, please be advised I'm getting fatter again. I'm probably a UK 14.
How is it that you have my cat in Baltimore when he is flopped over showing his belly in NC as we speak?
Schrodinger.
Is Loki's belly the abs of justice?
Abs of sloth. I don't think there's a comic superhero for that.
Like aloud. Her growing communication skills rock my world.
YES! Aw man, makes me miss missing this TG even more. I mean, I get msbelle and mac and fam and Australia, but...I love my annual N&G visits too! Why can't I have all of it?
Like aloud.
The who with the what now?!?!? That's so exciting! I had no idea.

That rocks so hard. Go Grace!
That's so excellent for Grace!
There's not a vaccine, I don't think.
I got one when I was a kid. It's why I tested positive the last couple times they did the skin test, and then I have to have my lungs x-rayed to prove that I'm not actually TB Mary.
Okay, time to send that email I've been dodging.
Well, after I pour myself some fizzy orange-flavoured water and grab my dinner muffin. Then status report--why are those and timesheets the only things in work life on a par with performance reports in terms of pain?
(TV is playing "All creatures great and small" and I'd no idea I had feels from this...)
That's amazing. Go Gracie!
Oh, and that reminds me, I never did testify to the awesomeness of Kat's niece, but she is, indeed, quite awesome! She's at college near me, and I am the friend of the family she can call if things get squirelly, but she hasn't needed help in a long time, because, awesome. I really love being the friend of the family person, though, because I had that person when I was in college, and it was so great. When I had a trauma, she got us out of there and put us up in her condo for a weekend, and it was just great to have someone nearby I knew I could go to.
