Oh, those are all good ideas, folks. Although she lives quite some distance away, I'm not sure how feasible the meals thing is. But books, music, iTunes, housecleaning, all sound good.
And my book club friend M, who is awesome, just reported that her daughter was just diagnosed with cancer for the fourth time. WTF.
Oh, if she's not near then things in gift card form. Things she can redeem at will. Food, distractions and services.

What? Like, she's trying to get ALL THE CANCERS?? I just did a case where the woman had breast cancer, then a paraganglioma, and now multiple myeloma.
Yeah, pretty much. First was cervical cancer, twice, then something else, and now I think it's liver cancer. I feel so bad for her and her mother.
Sucks really bad.
And on that cheery note, I'm off to bed. Well, sleep, sicne I'm in bed.
