And my book club friend M, who is awesome, just reported that her daughter was just diagnosed with cancer for the fourth time. WTF.
What? Like, she's trying to get ALL THE CANCERS?? I just did a case where the woman had breast cancer, then a paraganglioma, and now multiple myeloma.
Yeah, pretty much. First was cervical cancer, twice, then something else, and now I think it's liver cancer. I feel so bad for her and her mother.
Sucks really bad.
And on that cheery note, I'm off to bed. Well, sleep, sicne I'm in bed.
Back from seeing Bruuuuuuce. Great show and I am going to be sore as hell tomorrow WHICH WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Timelies all!
Going to Malice Domestic, a convention devoted to the traditional mystery(though the definition of "traditional mystery" is pretty flexible) this weekend. It's being held in Bethesda, so I'm commuting. I'll head there later this morning.
I think Lee is on a janky internet connection.
