Puppy!
Man, so today I discovered that my local hiking org, which maintains the extensive trail system out here, not only has downloadable maps, but has put them all in gpx format so I could load them into my GPS. If I had a GPS. Which I don't. But how cool is that? And hey, wonder if there's an app for my phone?

Man, for a holiday, I sure have a lot of shit to get done today. I think it had better be a timer kind of day.
Well, it has been a morning already. Yesterday I thought CJ was out on the search for the 10 year old girl who has been missing since Friday morning (he was at his dad's and no one bothered to update me). The team was actually just on stand by yesterday, but they are out today. I had to get him to HQ by 5am this morning.
Work has been slow and tedious so far this morning. And I'm crampy and grumpy.

I had to leave Nora at the Caltrain station this morning so she could go have fun in SF with people and then come to work, which is just sad on a whole bunch of levels, at least for me.
I had a great weekend though!

Me, I have today off, so I went for a long run in the hills (during which I didn't walk or stop at all, so go me), and now I'm going to get my oil changed and buy groceries and linens. I love extra-long weekends: I ran 4 times in the last five days!
Today's run was sufficiently long that I lost .8lbs during it, according to my (not very accurate) scale.
AND I have brownies!
