I am not at all sure about this whole internal temperature of the chicken rising 5 degrees after it comes out of the oven
because that's not in the recipe I tried.

OK, when I look at the recipe, it does not actually say that, but it you are supposed to take the chicken out of the oven at 160 and all my charts say 165 is what's safe, and some of them say that meat keeps cooking out of the oven so take it out before that, so I guess I am merging all that together. Sorry, I was working from memory.
need creme brule now
that is all
Note to self: "business casual" for a function where senators and admirals are in attendance does not, in fact, include trouser jeans.
t facepalm
Stupid admirals! My friend Lars' dad was an asshole and a bit of a prick.
It's quite possible you haven't tasted my egg nog, and I haven't tasted your creme brulee.
Y'all don't need me to tell you that sounds like a pick-up line on Chopped. I should try that on Zakarian at Comicon.
I am pretty sure I love all puddings. I made Thai black sticky rice coconut pudding last week. Man! Tasty stuff.
Ok that sounds delicious. There's a restaurant near here that used to give something like that (sticky rice and coconut and salt and...sometimes corn and beans?) for dessert free with meals. And then spthey switched to slices of orange and that's not the same at all and I was sad.

You should have told people it was an homage to Rand Paul on the Daily Show!
I've never heard jibes about teachers being typically stupid. New one to me.
Oh, that's classic bullshit -- "those who can't do, teach" and whatnot.
Also, I was going to say something about homework being marked check/check-plus/check-minus in my experience, but it's possible I can only remember grad school at this point, and it's likely that grad school is different from high school!
THERE WERE NO GRITS AT THE MARKET. I am bereft. Just spinach and empanadas today, I still have apples from last week.
Now I need to clean. I don't wanna.
Timelies all!
Mmm, creme brulee. Also, now I want rice pudding.
