Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Watching Jon Stewart greet Liam Neeson in last night's show, and I think it's so funny that he actually talked on the show about how he finally figured out to walk over to the edge of the platform to shake hands while the guest is still a step down. Smart that he did it, silly that he called it out.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

He mentioned it a couple of weeks ago with, shoot, I forget the guest, a comedian I think. I totally wouldn't have noticed but now I try to see the magic happen. (I'm also watching last night's show, but just started)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

silly that he called it out

eh, he's been short all his life, right? I'm guessing he's pretty comfortable about it by now.

Sure, but you don't see every talk show host talking about how their chairs are higher than the guest's, either. Just usually they don't mention the ~~showbiz magic~~!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Julie, which article did you read that refers to the Planned Parenthood fake abortion scam?

If you mean me, it was link.

I am among those sighing over the fact that almost no one cares about careful editing anymore.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My son's homework tonight includes watching the debates.

I just realized (because I realized I had no idea what time they started, so I looked on TV Guide) that Supernatural is premiering opposite the debate. I don't know if that's poor scheduling, or deliberate ballsiness, or what.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My son's homework tonight includes watching the debates. He's in second grade.

Isn't tonight's debate on a little late for second grade homework?

Not on the west coast, it's 6-7:30.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That makes sense, they're airing it live rather than waiting for prime time. They don't start until 9 on the east coast.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, I was just trolling for Good Stuff, and noticed this at the bottom of an article:

This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.

That...means they don't want me to tumbl it, huh? But I first saw the story on HuffPo, so what does that mean?? It's a nice story! [link]
