Even funnier, in a ridiculous way? Boss-of-boss is blind. He has co-workers describe my outfits to him.

In Montreal, I was pretty quiet. Those guys performed like their lives depended on it. And they were good. So the on 90% of the time things was no problem. That was six or so years of near constant laughter and high drama. Hard to sustain the energy for both, so I ended up making a break for it, only to discover if there are no comics in the room, I can fake it well enough to get by. And I'd rather a slightly funny room than leave it up to...people. So I'm obnoxious.
Calling to find out if the neurostimulator is covered. Might was well get that piece of input into the decision making. My mother is *so* against it, it's not funny. I suspect it's a "my baby!" sort of thing, because she hadn't actually asked around the medical school or hospital yet.
"Don't make me go get Jillian and her vampire fangs"
This should be a universal statement of impending doom. Don't fuck with the fangs.
aurelia,
man, I didn't know U2 did a cover of that song.
msbelle,
I like "Unchained Melody" though a bit less so since finding out it is Simon Cowell's favorite song, but you must agree that UM is not a great song to follow Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song."
sumi, just yesterday I saw someone with that very purse in the elevator at work!
Also, if SF is not an option (pout), then Cash and family in Seattle would be spectacular.
So a not-boss, but someone in the dept I support was tasked with drafting an itinerary for a trip he is taking with big boss. I am working on transferring the itinerary to a standard form and I realize he has NOT FACTORED IN TRAVEL TIME FROM SITE TO SITE. IN RURAL MOUNTAINOUS AREA!!! Seriously?!?
It is Friday and I am home, why oh why must the drinking wait? Oh right, because I need to go pick up the kids first. And then grade. sigh.
I worked from home today so I am just now on the bus to downtown so the drinking can start.
I decided since I did a bunch of work earlier in the week like whoah, and got home at almost 1AM last night, that I didn't feel like working today. I was on a telecon for an hour, answered a few emails, and then was on with the IT helpdesk for an hour (and they still didn't fix the problem), at which point I gave up, met a friend for sushi, and walked her dog to the park with her for a couple hours. (...I do have at least one thing that I really really should do today, and plenty of things I need to do at some point soon, but...)
I'm going to pay bills now, instead.
Cash and fam should find out they are moving to Seattle ASAP and move here [link]
Wow, that's sweet. The kitchen's nice & roomy.
This place is tempting: [link]
Though by the time I'm ready to buy, it'll be gone. And it needs some work. I like the tile on the kitchen floor, though.
I like this one better, and it's farther from the highway: [link]
But that one will be snapped up right away. Pity: the skylights would be really sweet.
