I bet it would make a NICE boozy rice pudding.

You don't have to read the tweets at this [link] for it to be depressing. Even counting the false positives, watching them speed up made me sad.
I want to make Rumchata buttercream frosting for cupcakes.
I can't work out if the BOTOX has kicked in. Maybe this guy is really good? I don't know what I look like when I make faces...
I still get the vertical line between my brows, but I don't feel like I'm pushing my brows towards each other to get it--rather it's an artefact of squishing them up. And I can raise them? Maybe I used to raise them higher? I don't have the same blank feeling when I tried to frown last time and nothing happened. That was horrible.
Then again, maybe that kicks in next week.
I do, however, have a general my-head-and-shoulders-have-been-abused headache, and it's days old. Dammit.
Why am I watching GA? I don't actually care about these people anymore.
Why am I watching GA? I don't actually care about these people anymore.
I don't know why I'm still watching either. Some of the Mark stuff was touching, but that was about it. The Arizona scene at the end was predictable.
Scandal:
This didn't feel as good as I remember last season being. Maybe because last season was was so short, it was very fast paced and tightly plotted. I just didn't care as much tonight, and they got rid of the guy I really liked!
I've been going line dancing for weeks now. Got taken out by a drunk fool. Didn't hurt anything but my pride. Embarrassing.
I haven't seen any new TV this week. I should remedy that. But not tonight.
I finally got the YES removed from my back. I found a soy based graffiti cleaner at school that did the trick. Probably not great for the skin but...
GA so far is like a parade of "You are bored now."
One can hope they resolve some of the things they must to make it less boring, but clearly some other things are going to be boring forever more. And I feel sorry for the people that don't bore me, that I will be less and less likely to watch them, and also Jesse Williams should cut his hair. I just watched Cabin In the Woods and he was mega fine there.
So our local CBS affiliate has a news scoop that is the envy of every program manager--a bomber across the street.
Their news set is in the lobby of an office building, with big windows on the street. About 20 minutes before air time, one of the news directors gets a call from a guy saying he's outside the building and he's got a bomb. After a couple of minutes talking, news director puts the bomber on hold and calls the cops. The bomber hung up, but the news people got a camera in the window and has been showing the guy pacing across the street with the cops lurking around and one brave soul within 15 feet talking to him.
On the other channels, they've go reporters on the street outside the blocked off area, saying things like "reported bomber" and "unconfirmed reports," and Channel 2 has a reporter trying to be very calm while they film the guy maybe 40 feet away. They weren't allowed to go fully on the air because the cops told them not to light up the set in the lobby.
I just know there's a program manager going "Oh, thank you lord, oh, please don't let it blow up, oh, thank you for this ratings coup, oh, I don't want my building blown up."
He's still there at last report.
