I don't have a lot of experience, but RT seems kinda dumb to have forwarded you the email in which he basically disses you to another realtor. I would be pissed about that as well. Our realtor is careful to be respectful of us and while I assume she talks informally to other realtors, she is pretty cautious in her professional dealings. (My frustration with her is sometimes I wish she would not defer so much to us; I could use some expert advice!)
I guess what it comes down to is 1) do you feel RT is respecting you and 2) do you feel he is acting in your best interests. If you don't think he's acting in your best interests, I would fire him. If you think he's acting in your best interests but disrespecting you, it's iffier - but maybe worth calling him and telling him how you feel, see how he responds, and consider firing him if his response is not what you want.
Good stuff. Have a hanky handy.

flea,
ok thanks.
suzi,
good news on the health front!
Le N, I think if he was playing some weird hardball a la "my seller rejected a $300k offer, so to offer $250 is insulting! You should be prepared to counter offer!" kind of thing, that's be one thing, if he's making up a higher number. But I can't tell if YYY and XXX are intended to be different.
pointed me to a neat free app to track calories - my fitness pal.
Oh, yes, I've used it. They have a pretty good database of foods, and they have an Android App, which is why I switched off Livestrong to that.
So ita, you are the one who has to shoulder the blame when the developers fail to do what they are supposed to do but you haven't been given the authority to compel them to do it?
Oh, man, that sounds familiar: responsibility but no authority to get shit done.
I was forwarded an email chain today, that started in fucking August, in which someone who sits 20 feet from me was asked to help on something related to one of my sites. Okay, this guy R is new, but seriously: everyone in my office knows my area of responsibility. And he just never replied, and instead the question bounced around a bunch of people in the field who had no idea what to do.
Half the time I suspect people don't call me because they're afraid I'm going to make them comply with the legal process instead of just going out and installing their equipment.
... and now it's too late for me to call this guy in Oregon. Not my fault: I tried twice and got a busy signal. Who still has busy signals?
Consuela - glad to hear you have good experience with the app. I was impressed that when I searched "flank steak costco" it popped up with the right stuff.
I need some work people to answer my questions and they are being silent. PEOPLE!!!
