I was forwarded an email chain today, that started in fucking August, in which someone who sits 20 feet from me was asked to help on something related to one of my sites. Okay, this guy R is new, but seriously: everyone in my office knows my area of responsibility. And he just never replied, and instead the question bounced around a bunch of people in the field who had no idea what to do.
Half the time I suspect people don't call me because they're afraid I'm going to make them comply with the legal process instead of just going out and installing their equipment.
... and now it's too late for me to call this guy in Oregon. Not my fault: I tried twice and got a busy signal. Who still has busy signals?
