Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Good luck, Kat.

Anthony Reynolds, 18, pleaded guilty to carjacking a Porsche in Newark earlier this year. And he might have gotten away with it—if he knew how to drive stick.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Someone had a Porsche in Newark?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Someone had a Porsche in Newark?

Exactly my thought.

Overheard in my office:

Women chattering about things. Neighbor guy: What are we talking about?

Women (in unison): Vampires.

Guy: (long pause) Joy.

edit: Yes, it looks like Hell Season is over, we have room to breathe and chatter again. Though I keep checking Weather.com just to make sure nothing is brewing.

Huh, and now a fairly widespread, informed discussion of Firefly. My office surprises me.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

OMG Kat. I didn't know stones could do that. What the fuck? Is it sentient?

This exactly my thought. Like it wanted to return to the mothership. I have had my pre-op labs done and just had an EKG. At two different offices plus a trip to the radiologist before they knew about the kidney stone migrating back.

Good thing I took off to actually go to the specialist. Now I am drinking sangria and waiting for a salad and reading Glass Heart.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Glass Heart, yeah!

The guys over the cube are having the wrong opinions about The Avengers, but at least they know the DVD release date. And we did have a nice little chat about Warehouse 13, which is precisely the sort of chat WH13 deserves.

I'm going to kill some technical people today. Marry some others, but definitely kill some. Others tomorrow, it seems.

So, Colin was in Lake Placid 3. For SyFy. There is an unrated Lake Placid 3. Same movie, more tits and naked guys. Not more naked Colin, but other women on the cast.

I cannot stop laughing about that today. SyFy makes porn???

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Man, I want a Coke. I really, really want a Coke. I have successfully eaten today: a piece of toast with butter, an apple, and a fake chicken burger. I feel like I could handle a Coke. And yet, I don't want to regret it.

Because books.

I'm so sorry about the kidney stone, Kat, but I hope you like the book.

Second 12 hour day this week DONE. Deliverables that have been causing the mass overtime this month are passed along. Just need them reviewed and any final adjustments and that is DONE DONE DONE DONE.

I may just crawl in bed now. I am so freaking tired. I have my annual physical tomorrow. Yippy skippy.
