Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Very sad about the baby panda.

Not sad but frustrating: sewing class on how to sew knits. Slippery bastards!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Yesterday was our fall karate tournament. I didn't compete this this (frelling asthma) but CJ competed in 4 events. He placed third in kata (forms) and the demo team also came in third. But the highlight of the tournament was that CJ got to help judge some of the kid events in the morning. He earned his red junior instructor belt a few years ago and has helped at tournament before. But in the past it has been checking tickets or guarding out of bounds areas. This time he was cornering (keeping track of the bracket/score and being an extra set of eyes) during sparring. He also got to help judge kata. Each time he was with senior Senseis. I was so proud of him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Okay, people recommended A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, and it has Shia and Channing as leads?

Oh, huh. I saw that before I knew who Channing Tatum was. And yeah, no, nsm.

Oh, so I had an interview scheduled for Tuesday, and I already told my boss, and now they have to reschedule! The good news is, I just told her walking to lunch so I think if I make it Thursday, she'll figure that's what I said originally.

The real question is, for an interview with a headhunter, should I wear a suit, or can I just wear a nice dress?

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Headhunter for what kind of position?

Because books.

Doesn't it matter more what kind of job you're looking for, Jesse?

Because books.

Emmys: I love Martha Plimpton's dress. And Hayden Panettiere is not old enough to call Maggie Smith "Maggie".

I guess? It's a fairly high-level job, where I would expect to wear a suit for fancy meetings like I do now, but not on the day-to-day.

I would think scale up for the headhunter and dress in the nicest stuff you would wear to the office.

OK -- I know a suit is always the right answer, but it makes it harder to pass off at work!

Emmys: Jeremy Davies just wears his hair like that all the time?? Even if they are shooting now, he could have combed it.
