Oh, so I had an interview scheduled for Tuesday, and I already told my boss, and now they have to reschedule! The good news is, I just told her walking to lunch so I think if I make it Thursday, she'll figure that's what I said originally.
The real question is, for an interview with a headhunter, should I wear a suit, or can I just wear a nice dress?
Headhunter for what kind of position?
Doesn't it matter more what kind of job you're looking for, Jesse?
Emmys: I love Martha Plimpton's dress. And Hayden Panettiere is not old enough to call Maggie Smith "Maggie".
I guess? It's a fairly high-level job, where I would expect to wear a suit for fancy meetings like I do now, but not on the day-to-day.
I would think scale up for the headhunter and dress in the nicest stuff you would wear to the office.
OK -- I know a suit is always the right answer, but it makes it harder to pass off at work!
Emmys: Jeremy Davies just wears his hair like that all the time?? Even if they are shooting now, he could have combed it.
I KNOW, right? I think his hair must be uncombable.
I refuse to believe that.
re: kidney stones--Hubby has them frequently, and he discovered that the very hard water around here was a major culprit. The only water we drink now is bottled water to reduce the intake of minerals. It's made a huge difference for his stone frequency.
