The last think you want is to hit on someone's girlfriend,
You sure you wouldn't have another think coming?
Sorry--it was really right there, and I can't let shit go.
The times Heidi tried to pimp me out, it was in a flock of clubbing women, some straight, some gay. It's not like anyone got much attention, so I'm not wounded by being ignored, but Heidi was so flummoxed she took us out again, and then threw her hands up in confusion.
But, honestly, apart from the woman I macked on, I'm fairly sure I've never been flirted with by a girl. Or asked if I was gay or straight by a lesbian (Heidi knew I was straight the whole time). It is possible I'm
so clearly
gay it's not a question, but for reasons not worth discussing (or I'll cry) women aren't going to make a move, ever.
::fist bump::
I don't know if I've fist-bumped as much in my life as I did this weekend. Whoa.
I just went and looked Heidi up, and silver foxiness is treating her well: [link] That's a very nice silvering pattern, and she's looking fine.
Oh, hey. If you want to look at the XKCD panel with the Google maps interface:: [link]
I've been out with lesbian friends several times, and I never get hit on. Meara says that it's because I scream "straight girl", which I am very ambivalent about. Am I bothered because I want to be seen as laid back and open, or am I just vain and want to get hit on?
I mentioned this stat on the weekend, and the two cousins eyerolled themselves nigh unto injury. One has queer parents and a transwoman brother who identified as a lesbian before he worked out what he was feeling, and the other has three queer sisters and a queer mother. "Get over yourself" might have been muttered.
And the straight friends assured me that they'd sleep with me, which...dude, straight girls are easy. I know this. I am one.
The Holiday fundraiser for the Adoption Agency I went through is up and open.

It is a bit weird in you bid by making a comment, and have no idea what other bids have been made, so like a sealed bid auction. Still, go bid, get some holiday gifts while supporting a good thing.
Huh. I just saw this casting news for a show I'm working on. [link]
Well, there's also the fact that lesbians just don't usually go hit on people. I mean, I'm a big flirt, but mostly have to be introduced to someone first. *i* rarely get hit on, and I'm well known to be queer
I'm assuming you mean lesbians I'm not related to, nor the lesbians they hang out with, because those lovely ladies know how to burn up a room. Lordie lordie.
eta: And I assume Heidi knows her clubs...
