I have to say, I did a pretty good job of forgetting about my car...my sister got a new car (her first new car) and I was still able to push my non starter and unknown bill off to the side. My call to not know how much it'd cost was correct--the decisions I made to spend money on family were the right ones.

Kat--that's great about K! Luck is as good as anything else in that scenario--a regular pay cheque is all that's important.

It's weird when people talk the internetspeak and when they don't. Along those lines, I saw one of my students talking Inuyasha fanfic and I was all YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT FANFIC, OMG! But actually she's totally the right age to be into it, I just had her when she was so much younger it's startling now. And anyway, at some point, I can have an Inuyasha conversation with her.

I've definitely been mistaken for gay by gay women, in my more androgynous days.
