Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm pretty sure they just fake took me back. This isn't a real room, and they can't treat me here. I bet they need the whole waiting room for the cameras.

In nibbled-by-ducks news, after cleaning up pretty much everything gross my cat could expell from his body, I have no interest in eating the corn chowder I made for dinner. I literally may just eat cereal or something and save the soup for another day.

Also, is it really wrong that I want to see if I can bring him back to the vet on Friday instead of earlier, so I can also have a job interview that day?

Yay, Lee!

I had government assistance in the form of student loans (which I paid back). And my parents were teachers, so I basically grew up sucking on he government teat.

I have good news!!! No bed bugs. The pest control guy sprayed outside and gave us a few small sticky traps. If we are still getting bites at the end of the week, he can come back and spray inside. Due to my asthma, he recommends me leaving for at least 4 hours and locking up the cats in one of the bathrooms. I hope we don't have to do that.

But, no bed bugs!!!!!!!!

Actually, I eat a surprisingly well-balanced and tasty meal while crapping out well-balanced craps, all while doing quality work for y'all, and you should give me more money.

Aw, I really wish I could cut and paste that.

Mostly, it's just that getting a promotion has led to heightened expectations and lower performance scores due to those expectations. Plus, I've been sick for two goddamn weeks, I got a flu shot this morning, and we had a fire drill this afternoon.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is there any way out of this bullshit cycle?

I am going with more "blah blah I'm fabulous" on my review this year, because that's apparently what they want, instead of things like "I said I would do this, and I did it, on time and under budget."
