Our wings are not tired.

but the overestimation is probably fueling some of the racial bias "down with welfare" bullshit.

Or, you could be like me, and make a point of living in a diverse area. I have no idea what the demographics of various ethnic or racial groups are in the US, and based on what I see every day, I am likely to wayyy over estimate.

I'm working on my self-assessment, which is leading to crippling anxiety.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm in the ER and I'm terrified because I don't see anyone I recognise yet, and I'm angry at everything that made this a daytime (slow) visit and I threw up in the five minutes I was home before I came back out...and a lot of ands.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, ita. What a clusterfuck of getting home. I hope the people who treat you, actually treat you.

Or, you could be like me, and make a point of living in a diverse area.

You know how rare that is in this country, right?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

java,

but if you look at the chart, the overestimation is nation-wide and not necessarily based on what region of the country you are in.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

easey peasey-ma for ita.

I'm working on my self-assessment, which is leading to crippling anxiety.

Pft. Let me write that for you: "I am so FUCKING awesome bee-yotch. I eat lightning and crap thunder! Or possibly I eat sushi and crap code. Actually, I eat a surprisingly well-balanced and tasty meal while crapping out well-balanced craps, all while doing quality work for y'all, and you should give me more money."

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Based on my neighborhood, most illegal immigrants are Brazilian or Central American. And most of them work as cooks or at manual labor like landscaping or painting -- not exactly your "lazy" stereotype professions, you know?
