I would like to give that tapas special a try. Even if I fail, I win.

That place looks pretty idyllic, ita. So glad you're there, but I wish I was there too.
I tried to make sangria like Kat but had no will to wait a week before adding the wine so wine went in a few days early. Just tried it and realized it tastes way too bitter, too much grapefruit (hey, used what I had). So glad I tried it early. So I fished out the offending grapefruit and subbed in some pears and apples. So if I let that sit another week I figure it'll balance out the flavors, right? And if not I just add juice, right? My first sangria so I wasn't expecting perfection but would prefer to avoid out and out failure.
Oh also for LAistas a warning that there appears to be fire near the Getty Center. Hope everyone is OK.
And if not I just add juice, right?
Sure, or sprite or something.
I should really be cooking something with CSA produce, but I don't feel like it! Meh.
I just posted on FB that my dinner was CSA zucchini, yellow squash, spinach, carrots, yellow tomato, and a red pepper. With pasta and cheddar. Yum!
My dinner tonight will be surf n turf. At a place on Shawano lake.
Ooh, yum. I ate pub cheese and crackers. Oops.
My dinner will be Zankou Chicken. No cooking for me!
My dinner tonight got accidentally cleaned up by the neighbors while I was talking Dylan down from a tantrum during our weekly pot luck. Whee, moody five year-olds are fun.
At least nobody touched my wine.
I should eat something.
I had butter chicken.
I had totally resigned myself to a lousy swim tonight. I was tired, and first few laps felt leaden. Then there were the arm cramps that I barely held off. Uhg. And then I check out my time. I wasn't leaden, I was tearing up the pool. So at least it felt hard because I was working my ass off?
