Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sorry, Suzi. That bites, and extra because he's ill.

Just realised i hadn't changed my work voicemail for out of office. Thankfully I managed my first take without screaming babies or flight announcements or bickering couples (one argument moved from in front of me as I was composing the message--if I don't write it down, I stumble).

I'm hogging two outlets at the four outlet stand. But I'm using the tablet and it's tethered to the phone, so step off. I can't believe someone has left their phone here. Don't care how line of sight you think it is, swiping that would be so easy without anyone in the lounge seeing who did it.

Wore one of my new bras for the first time this morning. If the girls look as good as they feel, I'm buying five more, stat. You can bounce over all the potholes you want (talk about tempting fate in Jamaica), still so comfy. Chantelle may be my brand from now on. Just need to find cheap source. Will scour Ebay.

The note I taped over the lock of my apartment manager's door yesterday is still there. He's not allowed to have sleepovers! Not without clearing it! First Ryan marries Blake, now this! Where is the oversight?

Oh, shit. I bet my family has lost the itineraries I sent them when I bought my tickets...

I would live a geeky meet cute at the outlet station, but prospects seem slim. Stay tuned for further developments. An hour till boarding.

Safe travels, ita !.

Congrats Jesse!

I'm getting more and more bummed that my dad isn't visiting. It was going to be funky timing and all that, but still... In addition to the house being nice and clean, I've been working a ton, originally so I could take time off when he was here, but then work exploded and it was just plain OT. I mean, I have 35 hours on the books for this week already. I'm just plain exhausted right now.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Aw, Suzi, I'm sorry. It's not fun to prep for a loved guest and then not have them. I suggest treating YOURSELF as a loved guest and doing something unusual (visit a local museum you've never been to, get a massage, whatever) just for yourself.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Good job, Jesse!

Suela, that is a lot, and not only is it not wrong for you to not want to, it's also not wrong for you to decide to opt out if you feel you need to. Time away should be time you can enjoy.

Bon voyage, ita !! That's why I love my three outlet plus USB surge suppressor so much. I can actually add to the net outlets available, while getting all the electronic juice I need. So I'll even ask someone if I can unplug and replug them in, thus letting me into an occupied outlet.

So my former student presumably flew back to Arizona yesterday, finishing up his program. He was only one of three who completed it, graduating, and I'm super proud of him, albeit a little anxious to see how he does transitioning out of it.

Totally agree with Scrappy on this one, Suzi.

brillig

It's time for the annual women's conferences around here, including the What A Woman Wants Expo. Wherein they'll show the latest, cutest outfits, makeup tips, home decorating, and "ways to pamper yourself and your family."

Nothing about politics, education, health care, social issues. I guess that's not what women want.
