See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Pedal. "Peddle" always looked wrong though I couldn't explain why. But thanks to Bev, now I can. Cool!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

We know where toe the line and jump the gun come from, right?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Think 'foot race' smonster!

IMHO, 'tickled pink' means embarrassed in a nice way so that you blush.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In the movie "far and away" , in the boxing scenes, they drew a chalk line on the floor and a little boy screamed "toe the line" and the boxers were not supposed to step over it toward each other. The kid was played by the kid who played Crutchy in Newsies. Not sure how accurate it was.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

IMHO, 'tickled pink' means embarrassed in a nice way so that you blush

That's new to me. I've always used it to mean chuffed. Utterly delighted. Nothing to do with embarrassment at all.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Utterly delighted is how I've always understood it. I'm going to hazard it's something to do with humors and having a sanguine temperament.

The middle pedal sustains the notes that are being played when you depress it, but not those you play once it's been pressed. Which is kind of nifty, but I don't think I've had occasion to use it ex elf to see what it does. Don't know what it's called but I think it has an Italian name for some reason.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So my first day of work, and my boss calls me to tell me that he’ll be in meetings, and there won’t be anyone there to meet me, so I shouldn’t come in until 11.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So my first day of work, and my boss calls me to tell me that he’ll be in meetings, and there won’t be anyone there to meet me, so I shouldn’t come in until 11.

So far so good then!

Well, that sounds great, Tom!

Me, I got home from Chicago at 10:30, and instead of being sensible and going right to sleep, I sat up catching up on LJ/DW and posting a story and then I slept poorly and I'm going to be late to work. Ah, well.

It's a movie built on the idea of romantic chemistry between Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, so I'd take anything it proposes with a grain of salt.
