I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

SF SF SF! Seconding this!

Or Vegas. Or Reno! Downtown is like Vegas's scuzzy but weirdly charming cousin, it's way cheaper, and the non-downtown parts are getting to be decent places to raise kids. Plus, a river cutting through the middle of town and real cowboys wandering around and bowling conventions and all sorts of oddball shit.

ION, I think I'm finally done with Evo Psych Anti-Buffy Asshole. He's just making me sad now; after many many rounds we've now established that he simultaneously believes feminists are selfish and uncaring, and also believes that men are by nature more violent, more warlike, less nurturing, and less important to their own children, and that he himself lacks a nurturing gene and is of value to his family chiefly for the paycheck he brings home. He also believes it's dangerous to society to try to change this, because it's all just nature and you can't buck nature.

He has three kids, including two daughters, and I think about the years of therapy it took me to get a handle on all the daddy issues my mostly benign but incredibly emotionally remote dad gave me, and, man, I just want to hug this guy. Cyberhug, anyway; he still gives me the creeps and if I ever met him in person I wouldn't want to touch him with a ten-foot pole. But that just makes me sad, too.

eta: We've got Kezar right around the corner from us. Bay City Bombers, baby!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I met Jerry Seltzer when I was at Rollercon. I could talk to that dude all day about roller derby. He lives in San Francisco.

DH and I are having a con-fab tomorrow over possible options. He's working on his resume, calling recruiters and we're going to see how quickly we need to make this happen.
