I haven't thrown anything at the tv? A few moments even made me hopeful? And Charlotte is a gorgeous city. Not that it's really been shown, I just think it is.
Maybe a darker gray or silver inbetween the black and silver in the dress for the crinoline, ita !? (Questioning you leads to unintentional interobanging.) Something noticeable but not confrontational color-wise.

Yeah, ita !, I really like the idea of garnet, matching ribbon and crinoline.
I wore black, pewter and garnet to the last wedding, but the garnet would be way less visible than a properly placed crinoline--it was just a necklace.

You know, a dark red crinoline might be a bitch (or expensive) to find.
I could also do a pink choker and pink petticoats. That would be easier, and I think still quite rockable.

That's what I call black, gray, stripes and silver, honestly. It's not boring but I am just happy in a tight color band. With sparkles.

Pink crinolines and a pink choker would be really pretty with that dress. Do you need me to send you pink ribbon? I kinda-sorta-maybe have a stockpile.
Broiler worked a treat! A little uneven, but I didn't burn the whole thing up and most of the sugar is appropriately charred, so yay!
I can see pink working very nicely.
