Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Man, I spent too long chatting with my old coworker, but it was lovely to catch up. And since she's a consultant she bought me my drinks and we split an order a fries. (And that was a very tasty scotch, something called Caol Ila. NOM.)

And I've read the FLOTUS's speech, and it was very good.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

The dress is pewter and black, right? A dark red crinoline and matching pendant/ribbon would be fun, I think.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And I've read the FLOTUS's speech, and it was very good.

Her delivery knocked it out of the park.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My thought about the skeleton choker is that it will be seen as typical by some (for good or ill)--by that side of the family, for sure, and my mother would think that it was too much for someone who's not actually one of the ones getting married.

I went and looked at my jewellery and...fine, fuck, I have a bunch of choker length necklaces mostly without pendants, either in silver or purple and silver.

I don't want purple to be my colour, though. Burgundy--that would be nice for my colour--if I could find a garnet choker and a dark red crinoline...

unless you safety-pin the tulle inside the neckline

There's a chance I might have to get the dress altered, so I'd totally get the tulle sewn in then. I imagine it would not only be slippy, but it would also get pokey.

And even if I go with colour for the crinoline, I think I'd stick with black tulle..I think. And match with the neckwear like you suggest, smonster.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Should I be?

I haven't thrown anything at the tv? A few moments even made me hopeful? And Charlotte is a gorgeous city. Not that it's really been shown, I just think it is.

Maybe a darker gray or silver inbetween the black and silver in the dress for the crinoline, ita !? (Questioning you leads to unintentional interobanging.) Something noticeable but not confrontational color-wise.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

(Ok, I just tried to type "Yeah" and swype suggested Riyadh. WTF?)

Yeah, ita !, I really like the idea of garnet, matching ribbon and crinoline.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wore black, pewter and garnet to the last wedding, but the garnet would be way less visible than a properly placed crinoline--it was just a necklace.

My sister calls it boring. I shall call it my trademark...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That choker makes me wish I could wear chokers. Gorgeous. I like the garnet, pewter, black color story for your brand.

I cannot find my torch and I have creme to brûlée. Woe.

Broiler works, -t. Not as well, and you have to watch it like a hawk, but it will do in a pinch.
