I hope Grace is doing better and that Kat gets some rest.
I only watched a few seconds of the peanut butter thing. After 3 days of watching the convention in Tampa I have depleted my tolerance for stupid.

I have seen many forms of life generated in closed containers. A tour of my refrigerator could scare all the creationism out of him.
Oh THAT peanut butter video. Yeah, that's been around a while, and sadly, is not a joke. I mean, it's hilarious, but it's not a joke.
It's sort of like how he's trying to take away all of our guns with his absolutely zero attempts at or mentions of gun control. So, you know, FACTS.
He's just lulling us into a false sense of security and then BAM! His second term, it's gonna be all-communist-sharia-gun-control-all-the-time.
I hope Grace gets better quickly.
I'll be heading back to glorious Kernersville tonight. There were a couple who lived hear my dad and helped him out a lot after Mom died. Yesterday one of them passed away, so I'm going to the visitation this evening. It'll be the first time back in Kernersville since I wrapped up Dad's stuff.
Coping~ma for Calli and Kat.
I am avoiding any creationism peanut-butter-banana videos. Can't deal.
They are delicious and will magically make your skin soft, smooth and pretty.
Eating them, or smearing them on? contemplating pineapple bath
Thanks, Zenkitty.
A friend of mine has a recipe where you soak pineapple spears in rum, roll them in sugar, and then carmelize their rum-sugar coating over a fire. (We're totally doing that over my firepit when the weather cools down enough.) And now you're telling me it's good for my skin, too? Score!
I'm sorry, Calli. Good luck.
Here's hoping it's nothing serious for Grace.
And thank god -- I was in a slight panic at the end of the day yesterday, refused to check my email from home in case no one had gotten back to me, and came in this morning to everything I needed! WOOOT.
I take it as a good sign that 90% of what I've heard about the RNC convention last night involved Clint and jokes about invisible Presidents, which may say a lot about the impact of Romney's dramatic acceptance speech. Or, possibly the OTT of Clint's speech.
I hope Kat & Grace got home from the ER?
That pineapple sounds very yummy, Calli. I hope the trip is as stress free as possible.
I hope the Dems learned from the planning lessons of the RNC convention. So many missteps. They had some really good stuff in the hours before national coverage. And then Clint in prime time.
Good Friday! Blue moon rising tonight and a long weekend to follow.
I watched the whole RNC. My take-away is: (1) Clint is an adorable old fart, who made some good points that got overshadowed by the silliness of pretending to talk to Invisible Obama. (2) All of Paul Ryan's pants are on fire. (3) The only thing Romney truly believes in and will stand up for is the right of rich people -specifically, him- to acquire more money. All else is negotiable. (4) I suspect there's some Republican party Illuminati setting this whole thing up for reasons of their own. I think they have plans in place regardless of which one wins. Romney will be a perfect placeholder for them, and Obama can be cockblocked for another four years as easily as he was the last four. (5) Lots of people are totally, uncritically, unreasonably behind Romney/Ryan, and this is disturbing. Even if one doesn't want Obama to win, and there are legitimate gripes that people have with him, even so, Romney/Ryan is just bad, because they are manipulative liars. (6) We're boned.
