I got a flyer in the mail, letting me know that Sears Optical is now selling the Kardashian brand of glasses. Why is there a Kardashian brand of glasses?

I got that flyer, too. I wouldn't buy Kardashian glasses anyway, but when I saw they spelled it the Kardashian "Kollection," I recoiled and then tossed the flyer in the recycle bin.

Oh, man, this is killing me. The woman who was supposed to be cooking for my parents hasn't shown up since Monday, and hasn't call the agency, and since my parents didn't call me, I didn't know either. ARGH.

I assume so--Dad can boil pasta and so forth. He's been cooking for them for the last couple of years. I'm just astonished that they didn't even call me, since last week they called me as soon as they realized she wasn't going to show up.

God, Consuela. I don't understand the home aids. My grams got two of them, one for overnight. They were supposed to feed her and clean. When my parents got there, all the food had been tv dinners, and the one supposed to clean was too afraid to do so, in case she got yelled at for throwing out the empty used dirty tv dinner trash. One of the issues with Home Healthcare Aids is that it is extremely low pay, and not much training. So while there are really good ones (my aunt does it for some extra cash after retirement, but she was a teacher), the other ones need much more training and screening
