I have contemplated paleo (or something similar) but not actually tried it.

Who has suggestions of awesome places to see/shop at/eat at in Portland, OR? It has been decided upon as the last-minute replacement for New Orleans. Not quite as exciting, but easy to get to. And tax-free shopping!

My plan is to stay home the next few days, try to get some crap done (like oil change for my car) and then go try to have some fun in Portland.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mmm... butter chicken! I bet it would be about the same (less time) in a dutch oven... Pondering.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That sounds great, Cash.

I really don't eat very much poultry because of the ethical considerations, and I have no local sources of free range chickens. Eggs, sure, from people who have named their chickens and aren't going to call them dinner.

We eat a lot of game.

The trainer wasn't saying, do paleo, just that googling paleo should get me some good recipes that were protein focused, non-processed foods.

Trust my rage

Ive considered paleo. Mostly I'm eating lots of fruits and veggies and generally avoiding carbs. I feel better that way but I love diet coke so that creeps in.

Loki's been asleep in the bakeware cabinet for 2 hours. Which is why all my storage containers get washed before use.

Going back, I knew NM's anthem- it was part of a penmanship exercise in 5th grade. And we've got a state bird, veggie, tree and cookie!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

When I'm able to buy a new (to me) car, I'd like to get a stick. But I haven't driven a manual for many, many years. I'd rather get some practice before it comes time to test drive cars, yet I don't know anyone who owns a manual.

Sending safe~ma vibes to NOLA.

information libertarian

Yeah, my problem with "paleo" (as someone with a glancing acquaintance with the actual Paleolithic, I am required to put it in quotes) is that I want to eat less meat, for environmental and humane animal treatment reasons.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Things I can't say on fb since my aunt and dad are watching my timline: No, Isaac, that's just a flashlight in my pocket. I am not happy to see you at all.

More P opinons: He thought Roslin started as an idealist (pretty sure I disproved that one), hates Helo so much he prefers Anders, and Lee is a spoiled brat (finally something I can agree with!). I just rec'd him Terriers.

Mmm, butter chicken.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I always wanted a VW bus.

ion, recipe planning for the coming week (some meals will prep and freeze):

slow-cooker butter chicken, Jess's Moroccan chicken, a family chicken casserole recipe called Chicken Normandy, slow-cooker chicken tortilla casserole, lemon dill fish

salad stuff, pico de gallo stuff, broccoli to steam, corn on cob

jalepeno cornbread, malt-o-meal muffins

fruit

I have a decent stock of stuff in the fridge already, but I have to shift to better eating, mac is gaining weight too fast and I am not losing any.
