I can't believe I had a day and a half with *no* headache! Technically I did get 4 doses this week (2 badly). Last week I got 5 (3 short), so unfortunately there's a pattern. After so long working well...as soon as the nurses changed shift, I got as close to the door as I could with the wires hooked up and made sad puppy face until one of the nurses that knows and likes me came bad, and by the time she actually asked me what was wrong I was in tears. But she found my new nurse, and she was familiar with me too, and they were nice and comfortable and sweet, and WHY DO SOME PEOPLE HAVE TO BE SO .... I mean, "I don't feel comfortable administering this dose" is a totally different thing from "you don't look like I do when I have a headache". God, FUCK YOU.

Anyway, I had 36 hours off, so that's really nice.

OMG, while I was making dinner, she hit the porch--twice. And she won't eat.

ARGH.

Well, the cleaners are coming tomorrow...

Ok, so, New Orleans people, assuming its a hurricane but not a super awful one...will the power be out forever and stuff closed? My flight in on Wednesday was cancelled, obviously, but I don't want to reschedule it and then be flying into a place I can't buy water! But if it's like last year and no big deal (granted that was not a hurricane, just a tropical storm) I'd hate to entirely cancel and sit at home all weekend.

Unfortunately, there's really no way to know. No one here knows what to expect. Isaac hasn't even become a hurricane yet (has it?) and we're all just waiting to see what happens.

I'm sorry, I know it's a tough decision. Perhaps see if you can fly out Friday?
