Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I noticed today that Oz's ears seem to be missing hair and the end of one is crusty.

Something similar happened to Sammie after his first and only dose of Frontline. He ended up looking like he had mange. The hair still hasn't entirely grown back on his ears.

When Pumpkin was all flea bit, the tips of her ears were all bumpy and sparsely-furred. Vet said she just reacted more strongly to the bites than some.

Good god, this weather is insane. I don't even want to be out driving in it. And it is looking strongly like I won't have need to be unless it magically stops in the next half hour.

Weird. They haven't had any kind of flea stuff since last fall. I only give them flea stuff when they get fleas, since I don't like putting pesticides on them. (Fortunately, they don't get fleas often.)

Just had to climb out on the roof in it. I totally cleared the roof Friday, but apparently more stuff had accumulated with the wind. Uhg.

Fuckit, I just need to get out of the house. Gonna go buy a hoe or something. I've just scrubbed the tub completely free of its rust marks, the sinks and the toilet TANK. I need a change of scenery.

I just snaked the bathtub drain. That was disgusting. I'm feeling so butch right now.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have done more laundry and called the nanny for time this week. I should clean more, but probably won't. School supplies all got labeled and packed up. Extras got packed away.

My room is a bit of a disaster, should go back there and tackle it.

I think I have a problem... I took my swim bag with me. And for a moment it looked like I might have a window. And then, as I was about to turn right to go to the pool, FLASH and I almost cried. I really need to find an alternative.

But I have a sidewalk scraper and weed barrier fabric and stakes and more barkeeper's friend. So there's that. And I guess I'll dye my hair tonight.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Lawn is mowed, lunch is eaten, dishrack is full of drying dishes. I may be out of steam. I expect I can finish washing the dishes over the course of the afternoon, but I don't think I can keep up the timed effort anymore. Tired. Fortunately, I can do the same thing again tomorrow and I won't need to do yard work, so maybe the inside of the house will look like I've done something...
