Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

brillig

I thought some of his transfusions were in regard to his cancer treatments.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I wonder If I can do that at home!

Pretty easy. DH had a high school baseball coach who taught some of the team members to do it.

Yikes, Cash.

I had super low blood count before my surgery six year ago -- I had to have a transfusion before they sliced and diced, and I tell you what, that shit pumped me up. Of course, I was totally weak and it brought me up to more or less normal. Still, it was pretty amazing. Blood. Good shit.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Beau and I literally spent 8 hours today resolving DMV matters

I had to go into the DMV to renew my license this year, because it's been 10 years, but I made an appointment, and the whole thing took me less than 15 minutes.

Of course, I got lost on the way there and drove around for almost an extra half hour and then sat in traffic for 45 minutes on the way back.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Taking the test and doing the reg paperwork, that took us about 30-45 minutes. But then we had to get our cars checked out, go back and get plates, etc.

Madness.

One way or another, the DMV will make you pay.

I had one yuck experience there in Baltimore, and I had one where the person went above and beyond just because. I choose to remember the last one as the defining experience.

Le Nub, I am on the direct Leo/Virgo cusp (8/23, 8 pm CST.)

I have great hair, can be extroverted except when I am a hermit, analyze like the wind and can organize anything.

P-C...ooh, what a great present! I'm sure Seanan made it JUST FOR ME!

(Right?)

Sangria is chilling, boozy fruit to add to sangria is macerating, I need to figure out something geeky and slutty to wear, and all is a go for my party tomorrow!

YAY! I love parties!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

In terms of the tranfusions - none proven except ones associationed with cancer treatment. The eyewitnesses mostly anonymous. Not fighting it - millions in legal costs, and poor chance of winning because of having agreeding to mediation. Menaing simple unfairness was not enough to get it overturned.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Still, it was pretty amazing. Blood. Good shit.

And people wonder why this whole vampire thing is alluring.
