Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty flowered bonnet, I will end you.

The status is NOT quo.

Dog shaming is made of win.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm writing a piece about an organization run by a Nancy Yancey.

Nancy Ann C. Yancey? If she waltzes at a formal ball she's fancy, dancey Nancy Ann C. Yancey! A friend and I came up with dozens of these one summer. I can't even begin to remember them all. They're more fun spoken out loud.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

If she does it in a horse costume, she could be fancy dancy prancy Nancy Ann C. Yancy .

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Dancing with her partner (in their own horse costume), she could be fancy dancy prancy romancy Nancy Ann C. Yancy.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

If her first two plans fail, we will move on to fancy dancy prancy romancy Nancy Ann C. Yancy's Plan C.

Because "No, wait, this time it'll work!" is just what you want to hear from someone dancing around in a horse costume.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Is it possible for your uterus to fall out because of cramps? I rather stupidly forgot to bring my advil home with me last night and was fine until about 2:30 am. I got on the first bus I could and got to work about an hour ago, took advil, and lay on the floor. I was hoping to sleep before work, but no luck, because the cramps are still pretty bad. I am usually fine as long as I keep taking advil every four hours and don't allow them to break through, but now that it has happened. Grr.

I did remember that we have this new shower in the handicapped bathroom, so I just spent 20 minutes with hot water on my back and that was nice. Unfortunately a) I can't bring my computer in there and b) I had to maek do with paper towels. But the shower was lovely-- it had a seat and a hand held shower thingie. It seemed a little like the "private" showers we had for girls in middle school to shower in when they had their periods. Of course I never went in them because the popular girls just showered there and we showered in the open room, period or not.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm on a chat right now with Citibank and this woman is not filling me with confidence that she knows anything at all about banking.

First she tells me I haven't been charged any monthly fees (wrong), now she's telling me that the savings account I've had for 12 years isn't linked to the checking account I opened on the same day.

I think I'm going to change banks. This is bullshit.

Ok, after 20 minutes of going through the customer service script, I have FINALLY converted this account back to the no-fee kind I used to have. (For some reason - ok, for a really obvious reason - when Citibank rejiggered their account types, I went from a no-fee account to a fee-unless-you-have-$15,000-all-the-time account.)
