Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

trying to plow through a few onerous tasks. Despite being a beautiful day out today and even some time for myself, today has been in need or a do-over.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I could use a do-over. I had really good intentions at 9 this morning, which was, what, ten minutes ago? Maybe twenty.

Also, I didn't start dinner until I was already hungry. It's not working out for me. Food should materialize as soon as I'm hungry, without all this tedious planning and cooking and whatnot.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

OTOH, I got a little weeding done, and I hung out the hummingbird feeders! They are currently being scoped out by the house finches.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I started red beans at like 8pm... um, oops? We will be eating at like 11pm.

Super productive day! voted, had an ad hoc neighborhood association meeting, bought a grill/smoker, swiffered and mopped all the downstairs floor, helped with the laundry and then settled in to watch tons of Friday Night Lights.

Productive!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I stopped for a duck in a crosswalk on my way home. It was in the crosswalk! It was a law-abiding urban duck.

We may have to walk over to the park. Sigh. Thought I was going to get to just listen on my patio.

I love your patio.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Today's been reasonably productive. I walked to the farmers market, signed up for more voter registration work, did a bunch of gardening, shopped a little, finally remembered to pick up some superglue, and repaired some things. Now some thunderstorms are rolling over the area, and it feels like a reward.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

what do you all think about this British game show and the use of game theory?

That game is hilarious as a thing, and kudos to that guy for working it.
